With previous collections inspired by the mysteries of Vampires, Mermaids, hypnosis and Empresses, the night’s
electric atmosphere, prestigious venue, models, tight guest-list, tighter swim suits, ties and trainers... set the stage for her 2011 London Fashion week launch.

In under a week, this tantalising triple threat has struck again, causing havoc on the UK’s social networking sites. Her youtube views were firing into double, triple, and quadruple digits before the pirates began “ripping” the diva’s Come Get It video, we assume for their own personal pleasures.

The questions bloggers are asking over and over again... eluding to her promiscuous sexual overtones, her sultry delivery, her African roots, and a whole host of well wishing female fans who liken her to an ‘al natural, not too dissimilar vixen of a rapstress known as Nicki Minaj.

But if you’re strong willed enough to look past her obvious beauty, you’ll begin to see the many levels of true talent that this starlet has to offer with each new release, whether that be visual or audio. I count myself amongst the privileged few to of heard the lioness roar in the booth and I’m telling you, I’m co-signing! permanent ink!

And I’m obviously not the only one. With requests pouring in for interviews, features and guest appearances as far wide-a-field as Hot-Lanta, Nigeria and The Republic of Kenya, this hot chick is only just beginning to heat up.

The Multriprenuer media mogul “Paradise The Prolific” recently embarked on a social networking takeover.

After years of indifference with google’s giant uploading platform, YouTube, the professional entertainment specialist has succumb to the might of it’s reach.

“I actually recall not too long ago when both indie labels and majors alike were united in our fight against having our “music” uploaded to the tune of lost royalty revenue.”

Fast-forward and the flood stream of multi-platformed networking has vastly improved and yields are higher in social networking than in other more traditional music streams. It’s a one click world that we live in today... literally everything is at the click of a button.

I’ve always connected with my fans and fam through e-solutions, but I admittedly stayed far from bandwagoning popular tech crazes, until now. LOL

I’m on twitter, x2 youtube channels, apple’s iweb, myspace, linkedin and most recently facebook. I think the main catalyst for joining is because of mobile technology. Smart-phones have smartened up and I’d be a dummy not to.

When NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC & YOUTUBE combine their efforts... one thing is for certain... it’s gonna be ground breaking!

But breathtaking, fresh, honest, gripping, forcing viewers to peer introspectively into themselves and account for either one’s shortcomings or humbled achievements was not to be expected. Yet with 4500 hrs of real life footage gathered from youtube uploads, that’s exactly what Director Kevin MacDonald managed to achieve.

THE PITCH -- “a historic global experiment to create a user-generated feature film shot in a single day. On July 24, you have 24 hours to capture a glimpse of your life on camera. The most compelling and distinctive footage will be edited into a feature film, produced by Ridley Scott and directed by Kevin MacDonald.”

The genius of this film isn't solely in the editing, it’s in the millions of non-actors ad-libbing from the same script of life... all beautifully unrehearsed.

The stories are gripping, unexaggerated and moving beyond words. Korean cyclist, Okhwan Yoon who has traveled 191 countries by bicycle since 2001 to unify South & North Korea. The Japanese family, Emily saying an unequivocal “NO” to her mini cam filming suitor, the many tears and the many smiles.

As featured in MUSIC WEEK, Westminster City Hall set the backdrop for: Get Up, Stand Up: Socio/Political Activism & British Black Music? A debate focused on what’s happened in Britain - what part have our artists and their music played in socio/political activism in Britain?

On the Panel: Marc Wadsworth (former Anti-Racist Alliance national secretary), Baby J (Love Music Hate Racism national organiser), Mykaell Riley (ex-Steel Pulse singer), Paradise (57th Dynasty). Chair: Kwaku (BBM/BMC founder). In association with Westminster Staff Diversity Group, and highlighting The Prostate Cancer Charity.

With honourable attendees such as former MTV Base presenter, Fusion, and a room full of ideas and thought agitators, a session of introductions, look-backs and peeks forward ensued for the better part of 2.5 hours.

When Hard Knocks Boxing Promotions launched just 2 years ago, many doubted the legitimacy of the youngest ever black boxing promoter in Britain. Well, last night he once again proved all nay-sayers wrong.

SHAMROCK SHOWDOWN at Bethnal Green’s YORK HALL was a multi-cultural fan-filled 4 bout boxing event, that saw The Real FIght Club’s, Darren ‘Mr R&B’ Hamilton TKO current Champ, Peter McDonagh’s to win The Southern Area Light Welterweight Championship crown and take his rankings from #37 to #15 in the UK!

The newBRAN entourage was rolled in thick, me, Amplify Dot, Shae, Brando, Redz, Talk-Talk, Terry and bare of the mans dem reached. Nuff old school heads, celebs and “gangsters” in attendance... and lets not forget the ladies that religiously turn out for a Hard Knock night fight.

KRS-One & Skinnyman Are Missing

C.Parker got the call from MCD to play sax on a track and I tagged along.
The last time us three were together, we were joined by KRS-One and Skinnyman for classic ‘U Must Learn UK’... filmed on location in Brixton... that was 2006. Charlie and I were touring Finland and the Baltic states at time of release so weren't even around when it premiered on MTV, and other video stations.

I hold MCD in extremely high regard as a UK luminary and when he said, he had a track for me days earlier for his forthcoming album, it was a No Brainer! I’m on it. No money, No Budget, No Questions... I’m on it.

Bare jokes. MCD almost set fire to his posh yard when he tried to out an out of control flame. “What should I use?” to which C.Parker answered, “fling some water on it” and so he did. But as any science teacher will tell ya, oil and water just do not mix. DO NOT THROW WATER ON AN OIL FIRE!!! Up in flames went the curtains.

It was all fire tonight. Parker- fire on the sax. Then me- fire in the booth.
Supar Novar came through with the drinks and cigs (just for the record- I don’t smoke nor drink). 12 year old Santino (he took the picture and entertained when daddy Parker put the guitar in his hands). All in all it was a good night, off to Tunisia with this beat in my head. Swear down!

Paradise The Prolific One nominated for Community Campaigner Of The Year!

I received a voice msg saying “...you’ve been nominated for an award” I immediately phoned Lindsay back and engaged in an hr long Q&A about current and past projects including recent performance at The African Music Awards, Young People Matter’s upcoming Big Sistah Conference, The Hip-H’Opera, work with HMP Feltham, etc. but South London Press wanted to get to the crust of my activities and what led me on my current path.

“Pain and anguish are the greatest catalyst for my creativity” I told her. From prison poetry as the first form of self-expression to challenging the mass media to balance their “message crops” with more positive fruitage. From my 1st group, The 57th Dynasty to forming TGSMP. From being a young teen in the audience at the Apollo Theatre, Harlem watching Boogie Down Productions, to having KRS-One feature on one of my own musical movements and record with me 100’s of airmiles away from the NYC Borough both he and I once called home.

From the Bronx to Brixton, my journey has been long and explicit, vivid in vibrant colors of both pain and joy, but I’ve always remained steadfast... “their future is in our hands”

All in all it’s been a great end of year for recognition! From my envolvemant with JJC’s We Are Africans Movement chalking up A Mobo Nomination, An African Music Awards Nomination & performance slot, A Nigerian Entertainment Awards Nomination and now an Our Hero’s Award!

Premier Night @BAFTA with Fredi Kruga

It was a packed house at the prestigious British Academy of Film and Television Arts. The Invite Only crowd swayed in from The Mezzanine Bar and into a state-of-the-art private cinema. Kruga, ever the host, was on hand to meet, greet, cheek-kiss and in my case, place firm patented hugs reserved for long time friends and associates. Tonight was his night! He said he was nervous, but I sense it was excitement, for tonight he debuts his “Men Lie.. Women Lie...” film.

Big Sistah program featured in Evening Standard

The Big Sistahs, part of the charity Young People Matter, support girls aged eight to 18. The youngest are known as Little Sistahs, while older teenagers are given a sense of responsibility, sometimes for the first time in their life, by becoming “mini” Big Sistahs.

A group of girls who “saw things they should never have seen” while growing up on “gang turf” now offer support to girls living on estates with no one to turn to for advice.

A year ago, Jummy Ogunyemi and Shakira Gardener, both 20, formed the Big Sistahs with 19-year-old Hayley Robinson-Allen and Nicole Reid, 18, to empower and advise girls on the Stockwell Garden Estate...

Their group has taken off over the last year. “We now get mothers and daughters coming into the office. All the girls get music and dancing, but it's not all about fun, we help them understand what's right and wrong,” she said.

On October 29, they are holding the Big Sistah free conference at the Lambeth Academy, with seminars tackling relationships, sex, drugs,  alcohol and gangs. There will be dance workshops, free manicures and massages. - special guest performances by Amplifiy Dot and Natilie May, hosted by Ms. Carmen-Leigh.

Wembley Arena, here we come! JJC is rep’n UK/Nigeria performancing at The O2 African Music Awards hosted by Genevieve Nnaji and Eddie Kadi, with Jermaine & Rebbie Jackson, Simon Webbe (Blue), K’naan, Tinchy Stryder, D Banj plus many many more world class performers.

We had rehearsals earlier this week [Party Dark, Mo Easy and JJC] and it’s gonna be 100 strong on stage by the end of performance with fist held high chanting in unison “We Are Africans... AWOOO!”

Young People Matter [ypm] 3RD Anniversary / FunDay

From conception to perfection... Young People Matter turns 3 years old. These are the teething years. No more crawling, just bigger and better steps. Yo Kemi... no more “hold tight”, the ride’s about to get a whole lot smoother. LOL

We were joined by parents, teachers, football teams, like-minded orgs and our entire summer holiday student body for a fun filled cookout / barbecue / football tournament / bouncy castle day of celebration! A massive shout-out to Kyla, who has consistently manned the BBQ 2 years running... Although I singed all the hair off my right hand on bbq duties serving up over 200 beef burgers and chicken hot dogs, I still found time to run about clicking away with iphone in hand before the first kick-off. A special welcome to both Helen Daniel and Melissa Prosper of 2fingerstoviolence, whom I got to chat with and am now two fingered-badged up in support of their campaign.

So what’s the coolest place in town??? Well, set dead bang in the heart of Mayfair sits the first ever permanent ICE BAR. Yes. An entire bar made from solid ice! At a chilling minus 5 degrees, everything inside is made from crystal clear Swedish Ice! The walls, the tables, chairs, everything down to the glasses as made from pure Tome River, Jukkasjarvi ice.

This is something straight outta James Bond. But wait, it gets even cooler... They slug this thermal fur-lined-cape-like-coat over you to insure no hyperthermia. You can only dare stay a maximum of 40 minutes, or risk limb loss defrost in the A&E. But not to worry, entry includes a complimentary Vodka Cocktail on ice... (I know... poor pun. not so cool ah... get it! “cool” Aight! Aight! I’m sorry.) I went down to Absolut Icebar with Captain Lee and my MELE Team to add a cool twist of an ending to an already fab day out, think speedboating up and down The Thames [more James Bond], boutique bowling in a 60’s retro themed 8 laned alley [more Jane than James Bond], banquette sized feasting table full of mushroom risottos, beef burgers, chicken burgers, etc etc etc... and Oh Yeah... DRINKS!!! [nota bene. I only drink Schweppes- Canada Dry Ginger Ale when out on the town].

I caught up with The Bicycle Ballet workshop for anyone who wanted to learn to dance with their bike. As part of The Cycle Coo event this workshop went on to display a short performance using the skills taught to them by choreographer, Sarah Alexander of The Bicycle Ballet.

The Cycle Coo, a day of cycling events, Bike Polo, cycle training sessions, Dr Bikes and a marketplace.

It’s the day the earth literally stood still, and cried... 1 year ago today we lost the greatest entertainer of all time, Michael Jackson. Paradise The Prolific One joins A Thousand Tears Tribute @ Piccadilly Square, London.

Utilising global mediums and cross-platforms, organisers simultaneously gathered supporters, tributes and donations to honour and continue the humanitarian work of the most charitable entertainer in history. MJ earned a Guinness World Record for his charitable donations.

Fans and supporters left tear shaped messages about either their commitment to making the world a better place, or a msg for MJ on the World Cry mural.

A special thank you to all the supporters and organisers who helped raise awareness and monies for SOS Children’s Villages, the world’s largest orphan charity [UK registered number 1069204].

YPM’s Sorority Sisterhood Goes Live on London Radio

London’s Biggest Conversation had tongues wagging when our young 18 year old Haley Robertson Allen took centre stage on Young London, alongside presenter, Nick Conrad. London’s commercial talk radio station, LBC has been broadcasting to the capital for over 30 years and Nick’s Show has niched a corner for championing schemes and people that have impacted the lives of young people and those making a difference within the community.

Via satellite link-up, Haley profiled the successes of and difficulties in, setting up The Big Sistah Programme. “Big Sistah,” an off-shoot, and partnership with, YPM, is a peer mentoring programme set-up by 4 young ladies who previously took part in YPM’s summer project(s). It’s aim is to provide support and guidance to young females through a host of services including its weekly Girl’s Night.

Haley passionately expressed the need for more programs that focused on our young females, who can often times face isolation and less activity access in direct contrast to our young black boys, who unfortunately receive all the media attention and government initiatives for all the wrong reasons.

The Big Sistah concept was born from the recognised need for young female peer to peer camaraderie. In the absence of adult role models, or when they seem too far from being accessiblable to you, having a safe haven literally a knock or phone call away, can mean all the difference in the world to a young teen’s life. I am extremely proud to know that the ethos of “each one, teach one” is alive and spreading by way of a few strong sistahs who are turning heads, by walking tall and swaying proud and... showing off... their sorority solidarity!

West Ham striker, Zanon Hines shows his support for our Community Fun Day being held for the 2nd year @Kennington Park Astro Turf. He poses outside my local constituency Head Quarters, newBRAN Barbers and Salon.

Hine’s premier league highlights thus far include his first league goal for West Ham, scoring the 93rd minute winner against Aston Villa in ’09. This young 22 year old is just one of the many positive inspirations on display this coming Sunday.

Election Day, UK 2010

Well its finally the day when “your vote counts”... theoretically.
I’m predicting a Hung Parliament with a Conservative majority seats, but no overall absolute majority in power. We the people need a stable bipartisan political machine by which referendums will hopefully sweep aside the normal all Labour or all Conservative POVs on issues relevant to me and the working class of GB.

The only reason I believe that James Gordon Brown is a good candidate at the moment is because of his clear background in world finance, as the former Chancellor of the Exchequer. The economic crisis that looms at present would be hard for any new government to handle in a few days and come up with a sustainable government with a clear and concise fiscal agenda. Brown might be the only man for the job at hand, but other than that... bye bye Brownie from number 10 Downing. I’d keep his expertise for another 3 months allowing for him to stabilise things, in the run up to maybe another election.

David William Donald Cameron was the antidote to the failings of the Labour Party. Witty and ready. I watched him many times in The Houses, banterful enough to dismantle Brown’s prewritten archaic two-liners. I like(d) him, more than New Labour, but not enough to let him govern us unchecked. I thought for a long while now that he was the fresh air to stale Labour, but then came... the man with all the cards...

Nicholas William Peter “Nick” Clegg is my favourite candidate. If he were running for a popular vote, he’d definitely have mine. I’ve watched him for years in the House making strong, relevant and valid assessments on the state of play both here and abroad, only to be shouted down or simply ignored in that silly way of theirs. I always thought that The Liberal Democrats needed a larger platform on which to perch, from which to sing. I never dreamt they’d get it first with the expenses scandal and then again with a national televised debate. Enter Nick Clegg ladies and gentlemen. Although not quite ready for the governors chair, I’m happy to have him by the side of either party, disallowing the bills that tax our civil liberties.

BSkyB Ltd in association with HBO sent me on my way to The Vue O2, Greenwich for the world premier of Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks’s epic 10 part miniseries, The Pacific. I was joined by the British press and learnt just how to get rave reviews... We were treated to free popcorn, Green and Black’s chocolates, and a Sky goodie bag, followed by a verbal spiel from an exec at Sky TV who had been flown to America by the network to meet Tom Hanks as he, Tom explained to all the global reps just why they had to have his movie.

I think if you flew me back to America in business class to meet the likes of Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg, and made me privy to a behind-the-scenes glimpse of their latest production budgeted at US$150 million... I’d take your film back to anywhere with me liking it a lot more than if you didn’t treat me VIP status. That’s how the big dogs play! They buy you and your opinion.

Good thing for them though, the movie is awesome! Viewed on the largest HD screen in Europe (I swear he said that), you were literally transported onto the battle fields of WWII. There alongside a band of US Marines, we live out the real-life-memoirs of the war veterans brave but brutal armed conflicts against the Japanese in The Pacific Islands after the bombing of Pearl Harbour. As history notates, this conflict would go on to rewrite history with the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

In a recent interview with The Telegraphs’ Will Lawrence, Hanks talks not only about the horrors faced by US Marines as they fought the Japanese in the Second World War, but also about modern day conflict in Afghanistan and the Middle East Region.

Lawrence writes: “The Imperial Army’s zealous, extreme behaviour, which encouraged its defeated troops to transform themselves into suicide bombers, or kamikaze pilots, invites comparisons with the current conflict in Afghanistan, where the West is once more battling an enemy whose methods of engagement do not conform to its own. Hanks concedes that the parallels are hard to ignore. “In 1945, to us, to Western society, the Japanese were not living with the same human values that we were. Now there is this same sense of difference in regards to the Muslim world. We don’t know what they think and we’re not interested in figuring it out. They speak a different language and they worship a different god to us. And we’re in a war of racism and terror against them. Alas, history has given us this proof that it does just keep repeating itself over and over.”

Shout-out to Grandmaster Caz who wrote Big Hank’s verse on “Rapper’s Delight,” but received not one penny till this day from royalties off the multi-platinum seller. I had the pleasure of touring with Caz aka Cassanova Fly on a ‘Hot Butter Live’ Tour around Europe. He’s a stand-up guy, and damn funny too. I’ll always remember 3 things about him.

• His by-line... “...its the Grandmaster of em all making even your grandmama fall for...Grandmaster Caz.”
• His energy
• and the fact that he was always talking bout getting back to his kids. A real stand-up guy.
