Paradise’s career remains as it began, as an independent. Alongside long-time collaborator and mentor, Charlie ‘the Baptist’ Parker, they took the fledgling Brixton based fasfwd ents literally from the streets of South London to the centre stage of the global arena.
“I’ve been a multipreneur all my life. Making the moves and the music I want. Independent means DIY... you have to be your own manager, publicist, plugger, web-designer, stylist, press officer and consultant; therefore you tend to hustle harder and smarter”.
A) CREATION OF THE GOOD SAMARITAN MUSIC PROJECT
- In 04 Paradise formulated the edu-tainment initiative TGSMP as youth engagement project. Since it’s creation, TGSMP has worked in partnership with YMCA, Greenwich Theatre, Black Music Congress, Met Black Police Association and HMP Services to name a few. Commercially TGSMP released the singles ‘Revolution,’ ‘Up2Us’ and the cult classic ‘U Must Learn UK’ which featured Hip-Hop legend, KRS-One, Skinnyman, MCD & Charlie Parker.

D) YOUNG PEOPLE MATTER CHARITY
- founded in 2007 by Kemi Folarin after the fatal deaths of many young people in the London borough of Lambeth. YPM’s goals are to educate, support, guide and influence young people to strive for and steer their life in a positive direction. Paradise’s role within the team has evolved from Charity Director to his current position as Project Coordinator and Executive Director, Alternative Education.
